Its objective is to serve our visitors’ needs in acquiring quality artisanship. It has an unparalleled ability to capture in tangible forms (replicas of museum pieces, textiles, ceramics, jewelry) the indescribable experience that is our cultural heritage, ancient Peru.

Accepting the Terms and Conditions of the current website is an essential requisite to registration process and/or acquiring products promoted on the website.

II. Conditions for use of the website

The conditions for the access to and use of the current website are governed by current legislation and by the principle of good faith, so that any user of the website is obliged to carry out a good use of it. Musee Boutique owns the Museo Larco trademark and all property rights and intellectual property referred to in the content included on the website (texts, photos, videos, images, drawings, etc.), so they cannot be reproduced, distributed, communicated publicly, transformed, or used in any way, unless given the express authorization of Musee Boutique.

VIII. Governing Law

The conditions indicated on this website are governed by Peruvian legislation. Likewise, the users of the website expressly waive any jurisdiction that may correspond to them and submit to the jurisdiction of the competent authorities of Peru to resolve any difference that may arise related to the website or the activity that takes place within it.

IX. Conditions on the acquisition of services and products on the website

Characteristics of the products and services

The products offered through this website have detailed characteristics and technical specifications, which have been provided by each of the manufacturers of such products. Musee Boutique is not responsible for defects in information that may be generated, in relation to products made by third parties and that are offered on this website.

Likewise, the applicable terms and conditions are included (price, charges, payment methods, special conditions, and more) so the user must consider these when making a consumer decision. The services and products offered through this website are presented in soles and dollars.

Before making the payment, the user will be able to verify, once again, the products they want to acquire and the total price to be paid, including applicable taxes, shipping, discounts, and more.

Purchase Process

The selected products will be stored in a virtual shopping cart. To conduct the purchase the user must click on the button “VIEW CART”.

Details of the products contained in the cart will appear on the screen: name, price, quantity of each selected product and the total amount thereof. You can also observe the total amount of products contained in the shopping cart, with the total cost of products selected in the shopping cart as well as shipping costs.

Before making the payment, the user will be able to verify once again, a summary of the products you wish to purchase and the total price to be paid, including: shipping costs, discounts, and more.

To finalize the purchase, you must click on the “FINISH PURCHASE” button, where it asks users to register on the website. The address listed in the record will be used to send the products requested. It is understood that the information provided is true, updated and complete, the same that constitutes an affidavit.

Next, the user must accept the Terms and Conditions and click on the “PAY” button.

The following information will appear on the screen: Order Number, Purchase Date, Total Cost and the Payment Method. Also, the user may continue with the purchase process by clicking on the “PAY” button or modify the payment method by pressing the button “CANCEL.”

Once clicking the “PAY” button, the website will redirect you to a secure payment window.

It’s important to note that throughout the payment process it is important not to skip the review of the product being purchased.

Payment Methods

Payment will be made at the end of the purchase process and will be an essential condition for its formalization. In any case, the choice of payment method is made during the purchase process on the corresponding screen.

We accept the following payment methods:

Availability of products and services

The products and services offered through the current website are subject to availability and are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. For this reason, the user should receive an email for Purchase Confirmation.

The user accepts that Musee Boutique may rescind or cancel, totally or partially, any transaction after the Purchase Confirmation and until before the delivery. In this case, Musee Boutique will contact the user, inform them of the termination or cancellation and refund the money paid.

Likewise, Musee Boutique reserves the right to change or substitute, in any moment, any product or service offered on the website, its prices and/or specifications, as well as limiting the quantities of products made available for sale through the website, to the extent permitted by law.

Delivery Policy

The products are considered correctly delivered when they are received at the address indicated by the user by the user in accordance with what is indicated in this section.

The person who receives the products ordered from Musee Boutique verifies that the package contains the requested products, in correct condition.

Musee Boutique does not assume responsibility for delays in delivery or the inability to carry it out, whether due to chance or variables beyond its control.

The delivery company may NOT be able to deliver the product in the following cases: i) it is not possible to locate the indicated address, ii) there is no one at the address or the person who was found refused to receive the package or is unable to, iii) any other similar cause that is not attributable to Musee Boutique.

In the event that the delivery company fails to deliver the product to the address indicated by the user, they can return to that address one more time. After both attempts an email will be sent to the user indicating that it has not been possible to make the delivery. In the case where the product cannot be delivered on the second visit, it will be returned to Musee Boutique.

After this period, the user will not be able to claim the delivery of the product. In no case will a refund of money proceed.

Invoices and electronic receipts

With the purchase confirmation the user will receive a receipt or electronic invoice to the registered email address.

Exchange Policy

In case the user wishes to make an exchange of the delivered product, it can be done within 15 days following the delivery of the product, provided that it has not been used, is in perfect condition, and is sealed in its original packaging. The user can exchange it for another product of the same brand.

In order to make the exchange, the user must send an email to: indicating the following information:

Use the phrase “Product exchange” in the subject of the email and insert the order number, while in the body of the message including:

  • Type and number of the client’s identification document
  • First and last name, or in the case of legal persons, the registered name or social name.
  • Type and number of the payment receipt received
  • Product details: product name, brand, size and price.
  • Reason for the exchange.
  • Pick-up address
  • Phone number

When all of the previously established conditions are met, Musee Boutique will contact the user in order to coordinate the pick-up and the new delivery. Expenses of the original shipment will not be refunded. Expenses related to the pick-up and the new delivery will be assumed by the user.

Return Policy

In case a product has manufacturer defects, understood as physical anomalies of the products that occur during the production phase by a non-compliance with the quality control processes, the user may make an exchange (subject to stock availability) for another product offered on the website or request a refund of money (based on the sale price paid), within 15 days after receiving the product.

In order to make the return, the user must send an email to indicating the following information:

Write in the subject of the email the phrase “I request a refund” and write the number of the order and fill the body of the message with the following information:

  • Type and number of the client’s identification document
  • Names and surnames, or registered social name
  • Type and number of the payment receipt received
  • Details of the product to be returned
  • Reason for returning
  • Pick-up address
  • Phone number

When all of the previously established conditions are met, Musee Boutique will contact the user in order to coordinate the pick-up and the new delivery, if needed. Musee Boutique will bear all shipping and pick-up costs.

Musee Boutique may reject the return request in the following cases:

  • 1. If it was completed after the deadline of 15 days after receiving the product.
  • When the product has been used without heeding the product instructions and product warnings. It should be noted that Musee Boutique is responsible for maintaining the information of the products offered on the website, updated and according to what the manufacturer indicates. However, it is not responsible for any defects in information related to the products, which arise when manufacturers omit or hide the name of any component of the products, or omit to record information on the existence of dangers that the use of the product could entail, or any other types of relevant information related to the products they produce.
  • In cases where the characteristics of a certain product are not to a customer’s liking.
  • Likewise, the return request can be rejected when the product has been used in conditions other than those of its nature or purpose, or if it has suffered an essential, irreparable and/or serious deterioration due to causes attributable to the user.

X. Conditions on the acquisition of services and products on the website

The website provides general guidance on the use of products and services marketed.

All the descriptions and information of the products offered through the website have been developed based on the information that manufacturers have provided u. In this sense, the manufacturers are responsible for any defect in information relative to the products they develop. Likewise, the recommendations and suggestions, as well as any information consigned on the website, has gone through prior approval by the manufacturers of each of the products.
